Phlox flowers in my friend's garden, Fieldbrook, northern California. The name Phlox is of Greek origin, meaning flame, with reference to its brilliant range of colorful flowers.
My friend's garden is about 2 acres in the middle of a redwood forest. As soon as I got there, I was like a kid in a candy store.  |
