My daughter and I both thought that this lizard looks like he's hanging out at the bar and has had a few   . So our friend Derek [link] suggested this title. This is another shot taken at the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum [link] The lizard is a Western Fence Lizard and the flower is Red Buckwheat (Eriogonum Grande Rubescens). Why is he hanging out here? This plant attracts butterflies, who in turn are a favorite entree for lizards. |
